Developing copy for digital and print ads, website content, social media, newsletters, and other facility specific materials; Composing compelling stories and content marketing materials to support marketing campaigns, which are aligned to our company mission and vision.
Monitoring, engaging with, and providing strategic direction in response to direct communications and indirect conversations on social platforms.
Performs additional marketing and communications projects and duties as assigned
Supporting the Program and Special Events Director in developing, supervising and executing ongoing programs, leagues, birthday parties and special events.
University Degree or College Diploma in Journalism, Creative Writing, Marketing or a related discipline;
Excellent written communication skills; 2 years experience writing copy for marketing and communications campaigns acquired in an advertising.
Demonstrated ability and experience:
Managing multiple projects, timelines, and deliverables simultaneously;
Meeting tight deadlines
Working in a collaborative environment;
Working with external or internal stakeholders and/or clients;
Demonstrated passion and knowledge of the health and fitness industry is considered an asset;
Exceptional attention to detail and proven ability to be an excellent writer/wordsmith;
Knowledge of the following software applications is considered an asset: Google Analytics, Facebook Business Manager, Instagram, Twitter and Wordpress.
Knowledge and experience with other forms of media is considered an asset (i.e. photography/videography);
Knowledge of HTML is considered an asset;
Well-developed interpersonal, and relationship building skills; ability to establish rapport and excellent communication with clients and staff.
