The Company

maxill is a 33-year dental products manufacturer, importer, and distributor servicing the needs of thousands of dentists and Gov’t bodies across Canada and the United States.

The core product lines of the maxill’s packaged goods product offerings are infection control, oral hygiene, dental disposables, preventatives and many more. All products and service are in one form or another related to dentistry and the dental profession.

Corporate Travel and Marketing Events Coordinator

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Plan company \ employee transportations, accommodations, insurance, car rentals, airline tickets and all other required travel and event services

· Handle any travel problems with employees as they arise 24\7.

· Cooperate with management to determine the overall travel needs of appropriate destinations, modes of transportations, travel dates, accommodations and all other such arrangements in explicit detail

· Provide relevant information, detailed written instructions, local customs, maps, regulations to employees

· Negotiate deals with car rental agencies, parking lots, hotels and other transportation providers

· Maintain the Central Corporate Calendar with all events and operations

· Deal with any and all occurring travel problems, complaints, charge descrepancies or refunds as they arise

· Enter all such data into the appropriate software and maintain employee files in conjunction with HR, Sales and Marketing

· Network with sales management and sales reps on local and nationwide event organizations

· Maintain statistical and financial records on all travel and events

· Communicate with sales and finance regarding material changes in the cost and deployment of events across North America

· Participate with sales, operations and legal in the quotation and proposal stages to ensure we are meeting sales and cost recovery objectives

· Establish workloads and manage resources and budgets

· Arrange the transportation, move-in, move out and all other logistical requirements for trade shows both large and small

Qualifications that you bring to the position;

· Above average computer literacy skills ( extensive working knowledge of MS Office Suite Applications such as Outlook, Excel, Word, MS Teams )

· Fluency in English. Written and Spoken.

· Hyper organization skills

· Exceptional multi-tasking skills

· Exceptional listening and verbal and written communications skills

· Experience in domestic transportation

· Degree in Hospitality, Travel, Tourism, Business or relevant field is helpful

· Personal travel experience will be considered an advantage

· Proven work experience as a travel agent or other similar position

· Attention to the smallest of detail and of a high level of accuracy

· Analytical and problem-solving skills

· Effective negotiation skills

· Multitasking and very effective organizational skills

· Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information, use good judgment, take ownership and solve problems;

· Ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging work environment and managing multiple projects simultaneously with strong results/goal orientation

· Excellent communications skills including the ability to write clearly and succinctly in a variety of communications settings

· Experience in project management

· A self-starter with the ability to multitask and work independently with minimal supervision

Position Title: Corporate Travel and Marketing Events Coordinator

Assignment: Part Time or Full Time

Income: The remuneration and compensation would be reassessed based upon his or her experience, one’s past experience and the results that one feels she/he can deliver to the organization.
