The Intern, Procurement and Supply Management (P&SM) – Fuel, Transportation, I&T, Corporate is responsible for working with Category Analysts and Managers to support and drive a variety of projects. The incumbent works with different teams (e.g. Business, Legal, Compliance, or Finance) to ensure that deadlines and deliverables are met. Selected projects provide the opportunity to learn and gain experience while contributing to P&SM results. The role supports the following 5 category teams: Fuel (diesel fuel, miscellaneous fuels, fuel intercarrier, and fuel reporting), Transportation (crew services and Maintenance, Repair, and Operating (MRO), Facilities Management (janitorial services, security, and snow clearing), I&T (infrastructure, telecommunications, applications, and I&T professional services), and Corporate (travel management, operations training, Human Resources).
Perform spend analysis for baseline on Category projects
Carry out analyses for project recommendations
Work with Category teams in building requirements for Requests for Proposal (RFP)
Work with Category teams in developing evaluation matrices, assessing proposals and recommendations
Work with Category teams in preparing Award of Business (AOB) deck
Assist Category teams in closing gaps on compliance to Procurement Policy
Assist Category teams in reviewing expiring contracts and assessing next steps
Coordinate inter-carrier fuel settlements with foreign roads by leveraging the FI Cleaner (FIC) and Robotic Process Automation (RPA) tool
Applies business and analytical thinking
Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledge of reporting software Tableau*
Ability to learn quickly, self-driven, and results oriented

Strong communication skills, bilingual both written and verbal (English and French)
Ability to work in a team
Working towards a Bachelor’s Degree in Operations Management, Commerce, Finance, Computer Science, or equivalent
