Great Canadian Gaming is currently looking for a Senior Total Rewards Analyst to join our team based in Coquitlam, BC.

Under the general direction of the Senior Manager, Total Rewards, this position is responsible for compiling and analyzing data, building reports and for making recommendations for effective strategies for professional, analytical and project management oversight in support of the Company's Total Rewards and Human Resources programs, ensuring accurate people data to make appropriate evidence-based decisions in all areas of Total Rewards and Human Resources.

Duties and responsibilities for the next Senior Total Rewards Analyst will include:

  • Performing advanced analysis of relevant data to proactively identify trends that present risks to organizational strategy or support strategic workforce planning
  • Preparing Total Rewards and Human Resources financial modeling and forecasts for annual budgeting and year-end purposes
  • Completing costing for collective bargaining processes as well as any other Total Rewards and Human Resources program changes with cost implications as well as performs a cost-benefit analysis for programs
  • Ensuring ongoing integrity of people related data in HCM and participate in the creation and maintenance of master Total Rewards and Human Resources data management model
  • Designing, developing, and implementing physical and logical Total Rewards and Human Resources data models that adhere to organizational policies and standards
  • Performing research, analyzing Total Rewards and Human Resources data, interpreting results, and making appropriate recommendations based upon data findings
  • Evaluating market, legislative and economic trends and developing recommendations for program enhancements or adjustments
  • Ensuring the accuracy of the data access to reporting and analysis of the Total Rewards and Human Resources data
  • Identifying root causes and resolving escalated issues or concerns in relation to HCM or system data
  • Proposing and implementing new solutions to improve Total Rewards and Human Resources processes within the organization based on relevant data
  • Supporting project planning, management, and execution to ensure successful delivery of Total Rewards and Human Resources programs
  • Performing other responsibilities as assigned

Successful candidates will demonstrate the following qualifications:

  • Post-Secondary degree in Human Resources, Business, Organizational Development or related discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience with a CHRP, CEBS or a recognized Compensation Designation
  • 5 or more years’ experience in reporting and analytics
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel for data analysis and using large data sets and performing financial modelling
  • Experience providing strategic advice to senior-level management
  • Strong analytical skills, with good experience of interpreting and producing high quality, accurate management information
  • Strong commitment to best practices in Total Rewards and Human Resources
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Strong project management skills, ability to manage multiple projects and produce high quality results in a deadline driven environment
  • Commitment to maintain high level of confidentiality
