We are looking to hire a Full-Time Scrum Master to join our team. The successful candidate will preferably reside in any of the following North American cities: Vancouver (BC), Edmonton (AB), Saskatoon (SK), Toronto (ON), Boston (MA) or New York (NY); however, remote work is also a strong possibility for the right individual. As a Scrum Master, you will work closely with the Product Owner to optimize agile and scrum practices within the team, foster an environment centered on open communication and help with project management./ planning. You will be a critical member of the team driving the execution and delivery of high quality solutions for Curatio’s growing online (app) platform.


  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Certified Scrum Master (CSM) credentials, Project Management, Agile Certification and/or equivalent training
  • 3+ years active work as a Scrum Master
  • Experience delivering software products throughout all stages of the Software Development Life Cycle
  • Possess an existing toolkit of methods, strategies and capabilities to handle ambiguity and readily adapt to changing environments
  • Strong leadership, time management and problem solving skills
  • In depth knowledge of a variety of software development methodologies and tools, such as JIRA


  • Optimize the use and utility of agile principles within the development team
  • Protect the team from outside interruptions and distractions by centralizing and facilitating communication and information exchange
  • Monitor, report and drive progress with specific projects to allow for informed decision making
  • Lead daily team meetings to receive updates and facilitate a collaborative development enviornment
  • Remove any impediments and roadblocks that may impact the effectiveness of the development team and their ability to deliver projects on time
  • Support the Product Owner with utilizing strategies and methods to effectively manage the product backlog
  • Proactively identify future challenges or bottlenecks to the development process
  • Help create a positive team environment that thrives on organization, collaboration and productivity
