About the Position
As the Admin Assistant, you play an integral role in representing our brand and creating the first impression our customers have of our business. As the Admin Assistant you will also support the departments within the branch and direct internal and external traffic and information throughout the day.
More specifically, you will:
Support sales, parts and service departments with accurate filing, processing accounts payable invoices and vouchers, processing customer payments and provide administrative support for various branch functions
Create a welcoming atmosphere for our clients, help keep employees organized and serve as an information center for employees and customers
Build and maintain awareness of GWE’s customers and the services we provide – Know the business
2+ years of practical related experience in an Admin/Reception role, including experience with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable
Experience with safety programs and safety documentation is an asset
Experience in heavy equipment or related industry an asset
Superior customer relations skills
Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
Ability to write reports and business correspondence
Good communications skills
Good computer and systems knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
