Reporting directly to the Manager, Royal Alexandra Hospital Medicine Program, the incumbent will provide an advanced level of administrative support for Recruitment Services for the Royal Alexandra Hospital Medicine Program. This will require the incumbent to have an extensive knowledge of the Medicine Program recruitment procedures and the collective agreements. The incumbent will ensure that Alberta Health Services employees are recruited equitably and appropriately in accordance with established policies and procedures and collective agreement provisions. Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following functions: providing complete support to the Recruitment process for Unit Managers via RMS. This position involves exceptional skills in organization, attention to detail, decision-making, and handling of confidential information. The incumbent will be required to work independently. Responsibilities vary over a diverse range of portfolios and the incumbent must be able to multi-task with efficiency and competence. Great communication skills and the ability to work with other members of the Medicine team are required. The incumbent ensures that timelines are met with regards to own work/projects as well as follow-up on delegated projects to other members of the site team.

Additional Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma. One year post-secondary training in secretarial arts, business administration, healthcare related discipline/courses. ePeople recruitment management system. A combination of experiences and education would be considered. Thorough knowledge of computers and various software, i.e. word processing, spreadsheets, and databases. Experience in a healthcare or customer-focused setting. Computer literacy essential. Excellent formatting, grammar, syntax and proofreading skills. Experience with Microsoft Office.
Knowledge of ESP scheduling is an asset. Previous experience with recruitment preferred.
