Murrayville Plumbing & Heating Ltd. is seeking a highly motivated, results oriented Service Technician with a Journeyman/Journeywoman Plumber and Class B Gas Fitters License to join our ever growing team. The successful candidate will be thoroughly skilled in residential and commercial service plumbing. This is an exciting opportunity for someone eager to learn and takes tremendous pride in their artisanship! This position is based out of our Langley location.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with our team of professionals to deliver quality plumbing service at each job
- To work in various plumbing installations, repair, maintenance, and service capabilities individually and as part of a team
- Diagnosis of malfunctioning equipment to determine the cause and take appropriate corrective action
- Communicate the issue to the client, offer multiple solutions, price, and perform the repair of the issue diagnosed
- Must complete required documentation on-site (ex: Electronic timesheets, invoices, quotations, plumbing checkups, payment collection, etc.) for plumbing services performed
- Perform cleaning and maintenance of equipment, tools, materials, and vehicles utilized; ensure adherence to principles and practices of safe equipment use and operation
- Maintain clean working area at all times, perform housekeeping duties on site
- Ensure full compliance with Technical Safety BC and WorkSafe BC
- Perform other duties as assigned
Experience:
- 2+ years Service Plumbing experience
- Certification of Qualification (Journeyman/Journeywoman Plumber)
- Class B Gas Fitter License
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License
- Analytical, detail oriented, hands on, and a team player
- Experience with field management software is an asset

Salary: $40.00-$60.00 per hour
