Responsible for the sustainment and growth of sales of sealant, glazing, fireproofing, waterproofing products and façade systems through Architects, Consultants, Contractors and Fabricators as well as directly to building owners and distributors. This position is responsible for the Vancouver region.
Sales Planning: In conjunction with the Regional Manager, develop a plan for identifying and placing appropriate product solutions for existing and potential customers in the territory.
Achieve sales target and market objectives:
Cultivate strong relationships with target customers.
Attend tradeshows, conferences and association meetings to network and market solutions.
Act as a technical expert on product application, present on site to train contractors on application and oversee job.
Ensure a superior level of customer satisfaction is achieved to assist in customer retention and market expansion.
Post-secondary education with minimum 2 years of sales experience (B2B sales), preferably in the commercial construction industry. Experience selling through design professional with a manufacturer or a distributor is a strong asset.
Demonstrated ability to read drawings and articulate the vision of product application to customers.
An effective problem solver who can demonstrate a variety of strong closing techniques.
Demonstrated communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels. Confident presenting to small and large groups.
Results orientated, team player who is also confident working independently.
Must possess a valid driver’s license and a passport.
