The Human Resources Assistant will be responsible for providing transactional HR support to the Human Resources team. He/she will assist with the implementation of policies and procedures, recruitment, orientation, training and development, and other areas as directed. Other duties involve maintaining accurate up-to-date HR filing systems and personnel records and assisting with monthly reports.
Coordinate all on-boarding documentation and conduct orientation for new hires in all locations
Maintain electronic employee files
Process off-boarding tasks such as system deactivation's and exit interviews
Manage job grant process
Maintain positive working relationships with employees and the management team at all levels of the company
Assist with special projects, and perform related duties as assigned
The Requirements (Minimum Qualifications):
Some related post secondary education
One to three years of experience
The Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to work well under pressure, either individually and/or as part of a team
Highly developed mental and physical organizational skills
Advanced time management skills with the ability to re-prioritize assignments based on changing direction or initiatives
Ethical, confidential and professional manner
Ability to work with and support team members from a distance
