In this role you will assist the Operations Project Leadership team with the implementation and execution of assigned projects, including scope, deadlines, quality, budget requirements and communications. You will utilize project management processes including best practices and also identify process efficiencies and improvements. You will act as a key resource in the communication and knowledge sharing process across Operations.

You will accomplish this by:

  • Planning appropriate milestones and tasks with assigned responsibility
  • Communicating agreed project plan with all project stakeholders
  • Ensuring adequate resources are assigned to meet the project deadlines
  • Tracking and reporting expenditures and ensuring project is delivered on budget
  • Identifying and managing risks and issues throughout the life of a project
  • Tracking progress during execution and reporting regularly to all project stakeholders
  • Managing all project documentation
  • Leading project evaluation discussions

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong verbal and written communications skills
  • Business acumen
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical, organization and prioritizing skills
  • Deadline driven with the ability to manage expectations and remain calm under pressure
  • Familiarity with industry standard project management best practices, life cycles and processes an asset
  • Understanding of basic financial management concepts an asset
  • Understanding of Nielsen products, operations and technical capabilities an asset
  • Post secondary degree/diploma
