Provincial Leader (VP), Rehabilitation

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, the Provincial Leader (VP) will lead the overall strategy and operations of the 21 rehabilitation clinics across Nova Scotia. The Provincial Leader will lead all strategic marketplace initiatives and business development, lead and develop the team, and ensure strong business performance with a focus on consistent execution, clinical quality, and operational efficiency.
Leading by example, the Provincial Leader will create a culture that embodies the values of the CBI Health Group, earns the trust and confidence of everyone in the network and realizes the potential in the marketplace. This role is based in Halifax and will require occasional travel.
Take an inside look at what you’ll do each day
Develop and execute an annual strategic business plan in collaboration with the Director;
Work collaboratively with Directors of Clinical Services and Operations to develop/implement/assess appropriate labor utilization, service delivery models, efficient operational processes, performance measures aligned to stakeholder KPIs, and innovative service methods and ideas;
Continuously strengthen the trusted advisor relationship with key provincial funders and referral sources, increasing the depth of key relationships with stakeholders;
Stay abreast of all funders and service delivery models to expand current opportunities or develop new ones;
Assess and maintain knowledge of regional demographics, marketplace trends and competitors;
Identify opportunities for strategic partnership and acquisition;
Identify and lead execution of innovative solutions to address stakeholder challenges;
Lead collaboration with adjacent CBI business units to leverage synergies and optimize service delivery;
Select, on-board, train and mentor Directors, ensuring they have clarity of role, the province’s objectives and performance measures;
Provide effective performance management, professional development and career pathway planning for Directors;
Drive revenue and profitability, collaborating with Directors and Provincial/National Leaders to innovate care and service delivery methodology;
Identify and lead the coordination of support functions (Marketing. IT, People/Culture, Education, Innovation) to work in concert to achieve goals and objectives;
Lead by example to ensure effective communication across the province engages the network in CBI’s purpose, vision, and strategic priorities.
Here’s what you’ll need to be successful
A university degree is required, and MBA considered an asset;
10+ years of leadership experience, preferably with a provincial, regional or national scope
Exceptional people leadership and management experience;
Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with various stakeholders across the province and within the organization;
A strategic lens, with the ability to build solid plans and flawlessly execute them;
Superior organization, communication and presentation skills;
Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities;
Strong interpersonal skills;
Excellent knowledge of all Microsoft products.
