Job Title: Marketing Coordinator (Entry Level)

Location: Vancouver

Compensation: TBD

Work Hours: 9.00am - 5.00pm (Mon-Fri)

Probation Period: 3 months

Duration of Employment: Full-Time

Based in Vancouver, BC, Hillsound is a manufacturer of outdoor gear that help enhance the experience and accessibility of the outdoors no matter the season. We are a casual, dog-friendly office looking for a new Marketing Coordinator to join our growing team. If you are a recent grad looking to work with a vibrant team that loves to explore the outdoors, this position is for you!


Assisting Marketing Manager in tasks related to content creation, brand ambassador relations, ad placements, sponsorship, and other related tasks.


Responsibilities include but not limited to:

Social Media

  • Plan and schedule posts on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram
  • Engage with online audience

Content Creation

  • Coordinate details with photographer and videographer for upcoming shoots
  • Graphic design work for:
  • Giveaways
  • Announcements
  • E-blasts
  • GIF/mini videos for social media, e-blast, etc


  • Continue building relationships with our brand ambassadors and featuring their milestones or stories across our social media channels
  • Coordinate sample shipments and product testing reports


  • Maintenance with product updates
  • Blog creation and curation


  • Keep in mind of the overarching marketing goal of each season
  • Assist Marketing Manager


  • Marketing related post-grad education preferred
  • Previous experience in the outdoor industry is a plus
  • Ability to build and nurture long term customer and staff relationships
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Good computer skills (MS Office, Adobe, etc)
  • Proficiency in English (proficiency in French is a plus)
  • Well-organised and responsible with an aptitude in problem-solving
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A team player with high level of dedication and commitment
  • Ability to multi-task

Benefits (discounted medical and dental): 50% covered by the Company on the first year. Starting the second year, the Company will cover extra 10% each additional year.
