This position will be based out of our Mississauga location, reporting to our System Design Engineer Specialist
Responsibilities of the Junior Application Support include:
Maintaining and supporting the organization's standards and infrastructure, using Microsoft Net Framework, SQL and integrated system components
Supporting and complying with documented software process and procedure requirements spanning all phases of software product life cycle
Perform software analysis, testing and maintenance activities
Assisting with production of software documentation and updating existing documentation
Mobile application design and support
Skills/Qualifications of the Junior Application Support include:
Computer skills are mandatory (Microsoft NET, SQL Database)
Degree or diploma in computer science or related field
Experience with supporting hardware and software for a manufacturing plant and engineering
Ability to understand and analyze complex programming code
Enthusiasm for software development
Ability to read and understanding drawings and specifications
Willing to travel when required
Excellent communication skills, both verbally and in technical documentations and presentations
Self-motivated nature with excellent time management skills
Attention to detail with strong organizational and documentation skills
Knowledge of 3D modeling/Architectural metal
Knowledge CAD/CAM programming (writing and modifying CNC Programs) is an asset
