Responsibilities and Duties
Produce machined structural steel by setting up and operating computer numerical control (CNC) Machines; Plasma Cutting Table Machine; Drill Line Machine; Rotation Saw Machine & Press Brake Machine
Fabricate beams, tubes, angles, channels, plates, or rounds according to the dimensions shown on cut lists and shop drawings, for structural steel
Read and understand engineering plans and specifications;
Meet production goals while producing quantity and quality;
Maintain safe operations by keeping work area clean and well organized;
Adhering to safety procedures and regulations;
Qualifications and Skills
Minimum 2 years experience within the structural steel industry
Health & Safety Certification (preference will be given to those applicants with certification)
Ability to operate fork lifts; overhead cranes in a safe and proper manner (preference will be given to those applicants with licensing)
Able to read and write English fluently
Strong mathematical skills
Strong organizational skills
Ability to program CNC profiling machine
Knowledge & experience operating computerized CNC equipment
