Brenda Milbrath of MacMinn & Company is seeking to hire a bright, motivated individual to start immediately as a legal assistant in our small, friendly law office situated in downtown Victoria. The successful candidate will assist Brenda with the drafting of wills, powers of attorney, representation agreements, trusts, probate applications, real estate sales and transmissions and some corporate commercial work.
The job involves some office administration work as well such as file opening and closing, booking appointments, rendering accounts, etc.
Excellent communication, computer and people skills are essential. Some experience in wills and estates or conveyancing is preferred. Salary will be commensurate with experience.
