Servicing customers in a wide variety of industries including Industrial equipment, medical technology, aerospace, defense and communications applications across North America.

Job Title: Quality Inspector

Role Definition:

Reporting to the Quality control manager, we are seeking a skilled inspector with excellent diagnostic capabilities to perform incoming, in-process and final inspection activities, ensuring compliance and adherence to company policy and quality procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect incoming materials by verifying conforming specifications, rejecting and returning unacceptable materials and documenting results
  • Approve work in progress in production by confirming specifications and communicating required modifiContinuecations to Production Manager
  • Approve finished goods by confirming specifications, confirm and return products for re-work
  • Document all inspection results and communicate data
  • Verify the conformity of parts according to drawings and manufacturing procedures
  • Develop and implement corrective actions, and review for effectiveness
  • Perform functional tests and recertify assemblies
  • Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications:

  • 1-2 years’ relevant professional experience within Quality in a fast-paced ISO 13485 certified manufacturing environment an asset
  • Medical or aerospace background an asset
  • Knowledge of electrical principles
  • Knowledge of IPC 620 an asset
  • Strong computer literacy
  • Experience in QMS an asset
  • Detail oriented and meticulous
  • Excellent analytical troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical drawings
