We are currently expanding our bakeshop team to help us meet the needs of our growing business. This is a Part-time to Full-time role with an emphasis on customer service, multitasking, leadership and efficiency. Reporting directly to the Store Manager, the successful candidate will have opportunity to provide a foundation of exceptional customer experiences that helps build an exciting new bakeshop while developing skills and furthering professional development.
Provide exceptional customer experiences through product knowledge, friendly and attentive service, and relationship building.
Lead the front of house team in daily operations by prioritization of tasks, situational awareness and delegation.
Maintain a keen oversight of operational needs to ensure tasks are completed to a high standard.
Ensure all customer facing areas are presented in line with the bakeshop’s design aesthetic.
Inventory and product management.
Ongoing staff training.
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES
High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 1 year’s demonstrated experience in a leadership role.
Extensive knowledge of food safety practices.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to problem solve and adapt to changing situations.
Ability to multitask and delegate in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work in a team-driven environment.
