As a Golf Services Supervisor/Caddie Master/Asst. Pro at Cabot, you will assist in the day-to-day on course, pre and post round guest experience, golf operations of Cabot while looking after the caddie to guest relations, and managing the day to day caddie yard.

Core Accountabilities:
  • Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service
  • Coordinating and supervising the daily caddie program
  • Execute daily tasks on Caddie Central software system, scheduling and notifications on software
  • Matching Caddies with their players before scheduled tee times
  • Introducing the guests to their caddies, and explaining to the guest the level of caddie they have for the round
  • Communicating to Caddies any changes/cancellations to tee times
  • Helping to train new Caddies on both courses; Cabot Links and Cabot Cliffs
  • Weighing golf bags to ensure they meet Cabot’s weight restrictions (under 25lbs)
  • Selling the Caddie program to resort guests, groups, and public golfers through face-to-face interaction
  • Oversee and help train starters, marshals, on course hosts, bell staff, guest attendants, club storage attendants, and driving range attendants
  • Oversee, systemize and organize guest club storage, rental club storage and guest luggage storage
  • Be knowledgeable of Pace of Play and any situations that may affect Pace of Play
  • Assist guests with special on course inquiries/concerns
  • Assist guests with routing of the golf courses
  • Administering and utilizing the Pace of Play systems
  • Selling retail product, utilizing the POS system to complete transaction
  • Answering the professional shop phones
  • Assist guests with information on resort amenities, information about the community and surrounding areas, and directions
  • Teaching private and or group lessons, helping with the Junior program, and any golf schools.
  • Other duties as assigned by management
  • Available for the entire season. May - October.
  • Member in Good Standing with PGA of Canada
  • PGA of Canada Teaching Certified
  • High school diploma
  • Positive attitude and excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle multiple duties under pressure
  • Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
  • Ability to work flexible hours – weekends and evenings as required
  • Highly responsible & reliable
  • Valid driver’s license
