We currently have a full-time position available for a Commercial Litigation Legal Administrative Assistant to join our firm!


The successful candidate will assume a position of significant responsibility, including:

  • Perform all LAA work from file opening to closing
  • Draft standard documents from precedents
  • File documents in court registry (including e-filing) and arrange service of documents
  • BC Online searches (LTO, CSO, PPSA, Corporate)
  • Maintain file organization and assist with organizing document binders
  • Handle bring forward system and court diary
  • Set trial and examination dates
  • Photocopying and faxing
  • Handle associated administrative tasks, including invoicing
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


  • 3-5 years experience in litigation
  • Exceptional attention to detail and superior organizational skills
  • Willingness to take direction and seek instructions
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flawless telephone manner and English grammar
  • Able to take initiative in work
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong word processing and data entry skills (MS Word and Excel)
