Reporting to the Department Manager, the incumbent will provide administrative support to the physiotherapy and occupational therapy departement. He or she will perform general office and receptionist duties. He or she will also coordinate office work at the reception desk. Depending on the circumstances of each zone, the incumbent may perform the same duties for more than one department. Work also consists in taking part in planning and holding activities for the department or programs and may also include quality improvement activities, statistic collection, training and orientation of new employees and students.
High school diploma, plus an administrative support program of over one year and up to two years, including medical terminology courses;
Minimum of one year related experience;
Extensive knowledge of and ability to use computer tools and office automation applications (Word, Excel, Internet, Meditech, Outlook);
Ability to type accurately at average speed;
Ability to deal with the public;
Ability to work independently and as a team member;
Physical ability to perform assigned duties;
Good previous work history (performance and attendance);
Adherence to professional ethics principles, to the Network management philosophy and organizational values;
Compliance with the rules of confidentiality established by the Vitalité Health Network.
Written and spoken competence in French and spoken competence in English are required,
