Situated just outside of the downtown core, on the Broadway corridor, our busy real estate team is looking for a full time conveyancer. We offer a welcoming, positive and accommodating work environment. The firm encourages and supports growth and leadership for all team members. The role involves working closely with a group of experienced conveyancers, paralegals, client service coordinators, and lawyers to ensure files are completed in a timely and stream-lined manner.

Receiving conveyance instructions
Corresponding with clients, solicitors, conveyancers, mortgage brokers and real estate agents
Dealing with mortgage payouts, review of title charges and contracts
Preparing statement of adjustments and reconciliations
Reporting and dealing with hold-backs etc…
The Ideal Conveyancer:
Will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in residential transactions (purchases, sales, transfers, refinances)
Some exposure to commercial real estate would be beneficial
Completion of the Paralegal Diploma or equivalent education is advantageous
Exposure to legal software and electronic filing
Experience with platforms such as E-Conveyance, Assyst, PClaw and BConline
Ability to manage stress with a positive attitude
Ability to work with minimal supervision and take initiative
Strong organization skills and the ability to prioritize effectively
Timely, proactive and detail-oriented
