Responsibility Overview:
The Operational Analyst - 2 is responsible for routine handling the data collection and basic analysis of production processes. The Operational Analyst - 2 is also responsible for gathering SLA performance details on a daily and monthly basis and generating all daily and monthly SLA reports to be distributed to other departments. Additionally, an Operational Analyst – 2 is expected to perform more complicated analysis of production processes, such as batch job processing performance, requiring knowledge of iFAST processing and batch processing and knowledge of IFDS client business needs.

Roles & Responsibilities:
Input and validate daily cycle data pertaining to cycle performance, SLA deadlines, and operational incidents.
Generate, validate, and distribute the daily Dashboard report detailing production-services-related incidents.
Generate, validate, and distribute monthly SLA reporting.
Generate, validate, and distribute the Daily Batch Report detailing basic cycle performance and file transfer information
Gather information and assemble the monthly Forecast report.
Perform regular analysis of cycle processes to identify and document performance degredations and improvements, and project the effect of scheduled changes on processing performance.
Perform an analysis of existing department reporting to identify problems (inconsistancies, inaccuracies, bad procedures) and opportunities (efficiency enhancements, improve usability, improve information content for end users).
Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
Functional Competencies ( Critical Skills)

Excellent knowledge of statistical analysis and mathematics
Excellent knowledge of MS Office products MS Word, MS Excel, MS Access
Excellent critical-thinking/problem-solving abilities
Excellent organizational and planning skills
Excellent research/information-gathering skills
Knowledge of iFAST application
Knowledge of Mutual Fund industry

Important Skills:
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Good Interpersonal skills

Knowledge of IFDS data center processes/procedures
