Executive Assistant to President and CEO
Permanent Full Time
Reporting to the President and CEO and/or delegates, the Executive Assistant ensures overall coordination and delivery of administrative support to the President and CEO and the Senior Leadership Team. This includes overseeing critical administrative corporate deliverables required by the CEO ensuring the provision of prompt, accurate and coordinated services. The Executive Assistant will be required to regularly interact with the Senior Leadership Team and Board of Directors and provide ongoing assistance, as required, with governance activities. This position manages the agenda, prepares meeting minutes and provides overall administrative support to the President’s Community Advisory Council and Senior Leadership Team Meetings. This includes serving as the primary point of contact for the Office of the President for internal and external key stakeholders and inquiries, including patients, visitors and government officials. As well as managing patient communication in the Office of the President in coordination with the Patient Relations Department and ensures timely and tactful responses.
What must you have?
University degree or equivalent in an appropriate administrative discipline with a minimum of 5 years of recent experience providing executive level administrative support in the health care sector.
What else do you bring?
Minimum of 5 years demonstrated senior office administration experience in an Executive Assistant role.
Professional demeanor and decorum, with the ability to effectively interact with key stakeholders including the Board Chair, Board of Directors, government officials, and the Senior Leadership Team.
Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and strong attention to detail.
Superior communication skills, both oral and written combined with a customer focus approach and ability to handle requests in a professional, diplomatic and tactful manner.
Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio and PowerPoint.
Proven attendance record.
Demonstrates understanding and complies with patient and staff safety policies and procedures that foster a safe and inclusive environment for all.
Ability to perform the essential duties of the job.
