Job Summary

Here they grow again! Our client is looking for a Bilingual Customer Service Representative to prepare, submit and track warranty claims according to my client’s warranty policies. You will be responsible for the accuracy and timely processing of claims to ensure my client deliver the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Effectively listen and document warranty complaints from both retailers and end consumers
  • Understand and communicate the Warranty policy to help determine validity of complaints
  • Ensure all customers complete an Inspection Request Form which will provide all necessary details to assess if an inspection is required
  • Responsible for scheduling the warranty inspection with an approved technician
  • Assess validity of claims and notify customer of our findings
  • Acts as a customer advocate, at the same time balancing warranty expenses with business needs
  • Engage customer Service if claims are validated and replacements are needed
  • Maintain a record of all claims submitted, returned/rejected, or paid and their current status
  • Establish and maintain positive and productive relationships with the retailers
  • Recommend process improvements to increase efficiency
  • Identify warranty trends and work collaboratively with the quality team to implement corrective actions

Required Education, Skills and Qualifications

In order to qualify for this role you will have:

  • A College diploma or equivalent work experience
  • Must be bilingual (English and French)
  • Minimum 3 years related experience working directly with customers
  • Working with warranty claims is strongly preferred
  • Must be proficient in Windows and Microsoft applications; Excel, Word
  • Prior experience in a Manufacturing environment is an asset
  • Works effectively in a team environment or independently, to meet or exceed Customer Service standards
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize under pressure
  • Effectively manages difficult situations, knowing when to request additional resources or escalate
  • Ability to remain professional and courteous with customers at all times
  • Maintains confidentiality, maturity and discretion in all aspects of the job
  • Interfaces effectively with all levels of management
  • Excellent customer service skills and willing to go the extra mile to help the customer
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
