The Translation Services team at TD Bank consists of dedicated professionals whose goal is to ensure efficient, accurate and timely translation support. The team performs a wide range of activities that includes logging and tracking translation requests and maintaining the Translation Satisfaction Index. We are committed to providing translation support services to the teams in various languages. Do you enjoy translating and proofreading a variety of documents of the organization? If yes, then get on board for the position of Translator I. Through the support and guidance of the team, you will:
Translate, in various languages, a variety of texts originating from various partners
Contribute to growing the terminological database by sharing terminological records and findings
Proofread existing content and handle changes as required, reviewing for content- and style-related quality control
Perform functional specialized business services or support focused daily / weekly to monthly basis within well-defined parameters as directed
Require basic experience and skills to provide standard reporting and /or analysis as directed
Participate fully as a member of the team, support a positive work environment that promotes service to the business, quality, innovation and teamwork and ensure timely communication of issues/ points of interest
Support the team by continuously improving knowledge / expertise in own area and participate in knowledge transfer within the team and business unit
Keep current on emerging trends/ developments and grow knowledge of the business, related tools and techniques
Contribute to various operational activities and processes as assigned
Consistently exercise discretion in managing correspondence, information and all matters of confidentiality; raise issues where appropriate
Be knowledgeable of practices and procedures within own area of responsibility and keep abreast of emerging trends for own functional area
Undergraduate degree with entry level experience preferred
Proficient with MS Office Suite
A focused individual with excellent business communications (verbal, written, presentation) skills to maintain effective working relationships
A strong analytical mind with attention to detail who can collaborate with others to produce desired results and achieve common goals
A dynamic professional with excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize, multi-task, and produce concise work in a fast-paced environment
