To build upon a track record of growth and success, we are seeking a Regional Operations Manager out of Cambridge, ON.
Responsibilities will include:
Identify new business/account growth opportunities and bring to the attention of Sales.
Spearhead new projects when delivered from Sales.
Meet with customers to ensure satisfaction, assess customer needs beyond scope of work, and foster customer relationships & loyalty.
Manage expenses and company property within area of responsibility.
Manage work changes and conduct onsite equipment training with customers as needed.
Provide account & technician support as needed.
Fill in as Fluid Technician and/or Site Manager as required.
Assist in the training of new hires.
Maintain the Cambridge, ON Facility and all assets contained therein (Purification equipment, parts, tools, etc.)
Manage and prioritize fleet resources such as equipment and vehicles.
Create technician schedule to ensure proper service and coverage of customer sites/projects.
Maintain master preventative maintenance, customer, training and other regional records/files.
Maintain professional appearance of equipment and personnel within region.
Manage projects and logistics between operating divisions and regions to most effectively and efficiently meet customer needs.
Identify and manage vendor relationships required to fulfill business needs.
Serve as liaison between customer, sales, engineering & operations.
Communicate & coordinate efforts with Lab, Engineering Services, Operations and Administration.
Communicate corporate office initiatives and relative information to direct reports.
Ensure compliance with all applicable local, state & federal regulations.
Perform personnel related matters (recruiting, performance reviews, and open-door discussions).
Ensure team members have appropriate training and other resources to perform their jobs. Respond to and resolve employee relations issues expressed by team members; create and maintain high quality work environment so team members are motivated to perform at their highest level.
Address disciplinary and/or performance problems according to company policy.
Establish work procedures and processes that support company and departmental standards, procedures and strategic directives.
Perform other related duties or special projects.
Comply with all aspects of the Trucent safety program, including but not limited to: Hazard Communication, PPE requirements, and attending quarterly safety training.
Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics.
Education: Requires a high school education or equivalent plus additional specialized training in industrial maintenance & machine operation equal to two or more years of college.
Experience: Requires a minimum of 3 to 5 years of fluid purification, filtration, and/or experience with Industrial Fluids/Chemical Management, including supervisory experience, in order to gain sufficient skill to perform the requirements of the position.

Perform supervisory duties, which include: Enforce company policies, Monitor priorities and performance of direct reports, Training, Hiring, Conducting performance evaluations, Disciplining as required, Set department goals, procedures and policies.
Perform reading, writing, and speaking at an intermediate level.
Demonstrate a basic understanding of specifications, blueprints, manuals and mechanical drawings and have a general understanding of analytical methods.
Ability to apply principles of logical thinking to define problem, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
Extensive travel on company business.
Machines, Tools, Equipment, Software and Work Aids, which may be representative but not all inclusive of those commonly, associated with this position:
Hand tools, mechanics tools, vehicles, machinery and forklifts. Computer, fax machine, phones and software.
Valid Driver's License (Commercial License Preferred) and acceptable driving record per company Vehicle Policy.
