Thomas Wang & Associates (TWA) is a downtown Vancouver based and full-service immigration consulting firm committed to providing its clients with tailored immigration services on complex matters. As a uniquely talented professional team, we provide sophisticated immigration services such as immigration representation in English and Chinese to a broad spectrum of clients from individuals to corporations. Our firm's practice areas are diverse, including but not limited to investor immigration, refugee and asylum protection, and almost all kind of immigration appeals.


We are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic, and hard-working individual to join our growing team and act as the Public Relations Associate / Assistant for Digital Contents & Social Media with the following qualifications and duties:

  • Experienced professionals in the field or those university students/ graduates who major in digital marketing, journalism, communications, public relations, or any related program will be preferred;
  • Must have excellent communication and writing skills both in English and Chinese;
  • Detail oriented;
  • Works well independently and as part of a team as well;
  • Exhibits an intermediate level or above proficiency in the use of social media platforms such as but not limited to Chinese Wechat, Chinese Weibo, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, etc.;
  • Knowledge in Google AdWords is preferred;
  • Knowledge in search engine optimization (SEO) is preferred;
  • Knowledge in website design/development and maintenance will be a significant asset;
  • Knowledge in Wordpress and applications is preferred; and
  • Knowledge in photographing and graphic design may be an asset.


  • Develop and maintain digital marketing contents across the firm's official website as well as social media platforms;
  • Promote the firm's business through online approaches such as Google Adwords;
  • Edit, write contents, make regular updates for the company website;
  • Provide support for other team members;
  • Contribute to developing the firm's awareness and brand image for the public;
  • Be in charge of the promotional materials such as the business brochures and PPTs, etc.;
  • Help organize and operate the promotion events such as presentation-oriented meetings, workshops, seminars, etc.; and
  • Complete other tasks related to communications with the public.
