Duties include but not excluded to:

Office Administration :

  • · Responsible for all office records: opening new customer files, general office filing, etc.
  • · Processing Commercial PO’s : Sourcing, issuing, ordering, following up with delivery of goods
  • · Support Technical staff
  • Inventory control, gathering inventory for projects
  • · Ensuring office supplies, etc are always ‘in stock’ available for staff use
  • · Preparation of monthly customer reports
  • · Maintain office calendar, scheduling, liaise with team and customers
  • · answering phones, processing all inquiries
  • · Mail: processing incoming and outgoing
  • · Preparing and depositing receivables (cheques)
  • · Preparing and depositing receivables (cheques)
  • · Preparing invoices/payables for payment

Shipping & Receiving:

  • · Ability/Qualified skills on forklift preferred
  • · Package and prepare any/all items for outgoing shipment
  • · Coordinate with couriers for outgoing shipments
  • · Receive incoming products and process same to appropriate project

Technical/Miscellaneous

  • · Opportunities for in shop testing of various equipment including pH probes, load cells etc.

A little about the position

The position is in a office with minimal 'walk ins', and phone calls. However the administrative portion of the position should be about half of the time, balance being Shipping/Receiving, Inventory and other miscellaneous tasks.

We are a leader in our industry, and have been extremely successful for over 30+ years. We facilitate the movement of bulk commercial goods/product. As such we are an essential service, that with following all recommended guidelines have been extremely busy through Covid-19.
