The Manager, Privacy Advisory Services contributes to the overall success of the Enterprise Privacy Office ensuring specific reporting, training plans, and research initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.

Do you have a passion for Privacy and want to help identify trends and/or gaps across businesses and provide recommendations on how to improve the effectiveness of privacy controls?
Do you want to work with new Bank initiatives and contractual arrangements to conduct Privacy Impact Assessments (PIA) and provide advice and counsel the program managers with respect to the privacy program and procedures?
As Manager, Privacy Advisory Services, you will:
Provide recommendations on controls that can be implemented for business solutions and contractual arrangements through the application and interpretation of privacy standards.
Prepare letters of certification, and Privacy Impact Assessment document administration.
Prepare reporting and communication of PIA findings to business units and performs issue tracking on outstanding items by liaising with Business Lines and Project Teams.
Work closely with counterparts in Compliance, Legal and other control functions to ensure consistency and alignment on best practices across the organization.
Understand and integrate the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture in day-to-day activities and decisions.
Provide global oversight and review of Global PIAs working with in-country Privacy Officers, providing challenge and quality assurance of PIAs performed.
Supports the tracking and monitoring of Control Function and Internal Audit requests of the Enterprise Privacy Office.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in the financial services industry, preferably within a regulatory compliance, privacy, audit or risk management function.
Knowledge of global Privacy regulatory compliance requirements.
Strong analytical skills and experience working with agile teams.
Ability to drive success in a high performing, flexible and small team environment.
Demonstrates initiative and keeps abreast of emerging privacy compliance and new technologies.
Effective communicator and persuader in a field that does not necessarily attract the compelling interest of day-to-day Core Businesses and Key Support Functions.
Spanish fluency is an asset with a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
