You will be responsible for:
Maintaining each guest’s rooms to the highest standards possible for cleanliness and physical readiness, meeting or exceeding Guest and Best Western® standards.
The ideal candidate possesses high energy, ability to work efficiently and is a positive member of our hotel family.
Your duties include:
Delivering excellent customer service, at all times.
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness in all areas of each guest room and public spaces including indoor/outdoor pool areas, lobby, outdoor courtyard, etc.
Maintain the appropriate stocking levels of all consumables on the housekeeping cart based on guest arrivals and departures list.
Maintain the inventory of every guest room. This includes supplying correct linens, bathroom amenities, electronics, and replenish items as required/requested.
You are responsible for ensuring each guest room is correctly equipped with tems such as hairdryers, irons, televisions, appliances, dishes, etc.
You must report any maintenance issues in a guest room or public space immediately to your manager, including all furniture, door locks, appliances, walkways, etc.
Complete all periodical tasks, such as flipping mattresses, cleaning curtains and dusting lamp shades, cleaning ceilings, light fixtures, etc.
Fulfill all reasonable requests from guests, to ensure their comfort, satisfaction and safety.
Report any safety and security issues to your manager.
Carry out instructions given by the management team.
The ability to carry items up to 50lbs up and down stairs.
You must be able to maintain the high cleanliness standards of every item in each guest room including the cleaning of all floors, walls, windows, bath tubs, shower stalls, cupboards, refrigerators, microwaves, coffee makers, irons, furniture, fixtures, doors, and more.
You must possess basic knowledge of laundry, cleaning principles, use of laundry and cleaning products, and operation of standard laundry equipment.
Ability to lift, bend, stoop, push, or pull heavy loads, and stand for long periods of time. You must be able to lift and use a variety of cleaning tools including a vacuum, mops, brooms, carpet cleaners, etc.
Ability to lift bundles of linen weighing up to 50lbs, up and down stairs.
Ability to push and/or pull wheeled carts weighing up to 100 Ibs.
Ability to communicate effectively with all guests and teammates.
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Wage based on experience and performance.
A criminal Background Check is required.
