We are looking for a driver to deliver storm doors to retailers across Ontario. This role can generate a lot of hours over a long run in various locations between London and the rest of Ontario. This would typically be a Sunday to Thursday turnaround, with the possibility of Sunday to Friday during the busy construction season. This role has an hourly rate of $24.17

Requirements / Exigences:
Must hold a valid drivers license (AZ) Air brake endorsement for license
Must have a minimum of one (1) years of experience
Must be able to work with a minimum of supervision
Must be able to drive in all weather conditions
Must have customer service/delivery experience
Good communication skills

Responsibilities / Responsabilités:
Operates a single or tandem axle truck (tractor-trailer combination unit) for the purpose of picking up and/or delivering freight from customer, supplier and/or Company locations
Oversees all functions of the vehicle, such as condition of equipment and loading/ unloading of freight
Completes documentation pertaining to driving and delivery duties (i.e. log book, equipment inspection reports, records distance traveled, verifies & completes customer paperwork)
Unloads freight picked up from customer and/or company locations utilizing material handling equipment when required

Description du poste:
Le chauffeur est responsable pour le transport et la livraison de marchandises à l’entreprise, chez les fournisseurs et / ou aux emplacements des clients.

Détenir un permis de conduire valide (AZ)
Approbation pour permis de freins à air
Minimum requis de deux (2) ans d'expérience
Capable de travailler avec un minimum de supervision
Capable de conduire dans toutes les conditions météorologiques
Expérience au service à la clientèle et dans la livraison
Bonnes aptitudes en communication

Opérer un véhicule à un ou à double essieux (unité combiné tracteur-remorque) dans le but de ramasser et / ou livrer des marchandises chez les clients, les fournisseurs et / ou les emplacements de l'entreprise
Vérifier toutes les fonctions du véhicule, tels que l'état de l'équipement et le chargement / déchargement des marchandises
Compléter la documentation relative aux fonctions de la conduite et de la livraison (ex.: journal de bord, rapports d'inspection des équipements, dossiers de la distance parcourue, vérification de la documentation des clients)
Décharger la marchandise ramassée chez les clients et / ou aux emplacements de l'entreprise en utilisant le matériel de manutention nécessaire
