Northern Lakes College has the following Part time .5 FTE position available at our

Slave Lake campus:
Marketing Assistant

Reference #NLC-1820

Wage: $21.68 to $25.74 per hour

January 2020 to June 30, 2020

Weekly scheduled hours will vary based on operational needs.

Qualifications:
College Certificate in Office or Business Administration, one-year university or equivalency;
One to two years of experience within an office or educational environment requiring similar duties;
High level skills with MS Office including: MSWord, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Outlook;
Excellent communication skills;
Strong service orientation and excellent customer service skills;
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing technology;
Team oriented;
Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
Class 5 driver’s licence.

Job Description

Marketing Assistant

Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide input and assistance in monitoring social media sites, College website, external and internal publications
Create promotional material and communications, both print and electronic
Develop marketing communications campaigns for designated events
Identify, develop and execute communication strategies for programs and courses
Collaborate with team members and various departments on marketing and communications
Build measurement tracking reports and planning documents for marketing and promotional activities
Manage and prioritize marketing materials, monitoring the status, timeliness of production and scheduling
Assist with special events
Other duties as required.
