The Executive Coordinator will be required to provide confidential and discretionary support to the President of Today’s Shopping Choice (TSC) and occasionally to executive-level direct reports.

The successful candidate must have experience in a fast paced, dynamic environment where a high degree of professionalism, confidentiality and self-awareness are required. The individual is proactive with a passion for supporting leaders in a highly collaborative, cross-functional environment. Positive interactions with key stakeholders are a critical requirement of this role. Stakeholders include but are not limited to, the TSC Executive team, Employees, On-air Hosts, Partners, and our Customers.

The individual demonstrates excellent initiative, is a critical thinker, and builds trusting relationships easily. The ability to deal with ambiguity and handle changing and competing priorities is a must. The role requires willingness to work odd and extended hours when needed (TSC is a dynamic, live-broadcast TV business). Of critical importance, the candidate always demonstrates a genuine passion to act as brand ambassador for the TSC experience and operates with integrity.

Responsibilities:
Prioritize and plan the Presidents day-to-day activities (meetings, guests, calendaring) and facilitate the most efficient use of the leaders’ time aligned to business priorities
Leads by example to work effectively and collaboratively with the other support functions of the organization and at partner companies
Demonstrates solid judgment in acting as the gatekeeper around priorities and appointments; acts with diplomacy
Advanced ability to use time management and office workflow tools such as MS Outlook, MS Office and Oracle (expenses and PO processing)
Assists with the preparation of meeting agendas, provides assistance in preparing presentations, and when requested, coordinates research or data for reports
Ensures all meeting objective, time, length, location, attendees, etc is made clear to the management team in attendance. Ensures the President has the appropriate background materials, meeting file(s), etc. for any meetings s/he is attending. Meeting management is a critical aspect of accountability.
Organizes special functions such as the off-site seminars, meetings, events for President and the TSC executives; Coordinate and manage special projects with focused attention to detail and proper follow-through
Exercise proper intuition and business understanding to prioritize and/or alert the President to any urgent matters requiring attention, follow-ups, or review
Act as an extension of the President in all his/her relationships with staff personnel. The role is a unifying catalyst within TSC, requiring tact, diplomacy, and a solution mindset with all levels of management and staff
Acts as a liaison to other functional areas of the business in matters affecting the President's Office, such as Human Resources, Facilities, Legal, Finance,etc.
Technologically savvy and comfortable working in a technology-based business (Telecom or Retail industry experience would be an asset)
Provide assistance on ad-hoc business requests as needed
Directly assists in the achievements of TSC by understanding and communicating
the Company’s mission & values
the key priorities and strategies
Acts as Ambassador for the Office of the President and TSC business as a whole

Key Qualifications:
Minimum of 5+ year of previous experience working with senior level executives
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
Proven ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to prioritize
Demonstrated business professionalism, respect for confidentiality, and appropriate handling of sensitive information
Advanced skills in managing calendars in MS. Outlook, as well as experience in office workflow and productivity tools such as MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel) and Oracle
Ability to anticipate needs before being asked; strong intuition and interest in the TSC business
Displays a consistently out-going and social nature; is inclusive and trusting
Reliable and dependable team player; willing to work flexible hours and be on call to meet challenging and changing deadlines as they arise
Completion of post-secondary education would be an asset
