In your role, you will:
  • Analyze, identify and propose improvements to engineering processes adapted to the requirements of internal customers
  • Conduct needs analysis workshops
  • Interact with different organizations to ensure consistency in the solutions offered
  • Support engineering improvement initiatives aligned with the organization's product lifecycle management (PLM) strategy and in collaboration with the IT department
  • Effectively manage team priorities and activities
  • Participate and prepare meetings with the development team in order to coordinate the activities leading to the delivery of the proposed improvements
  • Provide constant visibility on the evolution of multiple projects carried out in parallel
  • Develop and harmonize project deadlines and rally technical teams to respect these deadlines
  • Lead activities to identify, manage and mitigate risks, prepare emergency plans
  • Develop and maintain the key technical skills of the team by staying up to date with the latest technologies
  • Facilitate problem solving, ensure the involvement of all stakeholders and obtain an effective resolution
Qualifications

As our ideal candidate,

  • You hold a bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field
  • You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in project management or management
  • You have experience with CAD and PLM systems and a knowledge of product change management
  • You have excellent oral and written communication skills, in French and English, with training and mentoring skills
  • You master the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project)
  • You have shown strong leadership in a matrix organization
  • You have strong analytical and business skills, planning, problem solving and good interpersonal skills
  • You must have a sense of organization, time management and demonstrate autonomy
  • You have knowledge of aircraft development cycles
