Bachelor of Education Degree
Alberta Teaching Certificate
Must be fluent (reading, writing and speaking) in French
Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task with confidence
Excellent classroom management skills
Creativity and independence in lesson planning skills
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge/interest in Waldorf pedagogy is preferred
Salary and Benefits:
Perfect position for someone wanting an enjoyable part-time role in a fantastic school. Exact FTE to be determined but will include instruction of approx 6 classes per week teaching grades 6 – 9.
Additional substitute teaching hours are available for class teaching (Kindergarten – grade 9) if additional work is desired.

Hours and Length of Year:
Exact schedule to be determined. Conceivably 2-3 afternoons per week.
Classes run September to June.
Providing reports for parents during parent-teacher interviews
Attend faculty/committee meetings, school events, seasonal fairs, and in-service training as required
Ensure that all Equivalent Learning Outcome documentation is up to date as required by Alberta Education
All new employees are subject to a 3 month probationary period.
