Contributes to the overall success of Global Procurement Services department serving the global enterprise ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.
Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
Follows Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to respond to inquiries related to Procurement Policy and Procedures, and other related policies.
Operates the Bank’s issue ticket management system to log Level 1 support issues related to Procurement Technology platforms. Interacts with employees and suppliers for P2P platform catalog set-up & maintenance.
Uses Problem Resolution Procedure (PRP) documentation to resolve common problems.
Escalates issues to Analyst and/or Sr. Analyst and tracks to resolution.
Communicates to Sr. Analyst and/or Manager system/process improvements based on interaction and feedback received from users
Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.

Completion of post-secondary diploma or degree
2+ years of experience in a customer service or operational support capacity
Excellent verbal and written communication skils; fluency in Spanish is considered a strong asset
Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
Strong technical skills; knowledge of Coupa, Evalua, Peoplesoft, Ariba is considered an asset
Ability to work well independently as well as collaboratively within a team
