Job Description

The Co-op Analyst will support the team with some or all the following activities:

Work in one or more of the business units within TDAM including operations, business services, regulatory & policy governance, risk management, communications, sales enablement, internal or external distribution, product management, and investment management.
Learn aspects of the asset management business, including strategy, product design, distribution, operations, governance and oversight, portfolio management, trading and settlement process.
Develop client reports, presentation and market research
Undertake projects touching on strategy, marketing, business and product development, portfolio management, finance, risk, governance, client service, operations and trading
Complete complex financial and business analysis
Competitive research

Job Requirements

Organizational skills with the ability to prioritize, multi-task and maintain attention to detail
Good foundation in business acumen, capital markets, problem solving skills and analytical capabilities
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
Experience in financial modeling or programming would be an asset
Strong verbal and written presentation skills
Highly motivated individual with the willingness and flexibility to take different initiatives
Must be able to work effectively in a team environment

Skills that are not required but considered an asset:
Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset
Microsoft Access
Knowledge of Investment Products
