Enterprise Technology & Services (ETS) delivers shared technology services for the Firm supporting all business applications and end users. ETS provides capabilities for all stages of the Firm’s software development lifecycle, enabling productive coding, functional and integration testing, application releases, and ongoing monitoring and support for over 3,000 production applications.
ETS also delivers all workplace technologies (desktop, mobile, voice, video, productivity, intranet/internet) in integrated configurations that boost the personal productivity of our employees. Application and end user services are delivered on a scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure composed of seamlessly integrated datacenter, network, compute, cloud, storage, and database services.
This is an email infrastructure engineering role. The team is responsible for maintaining mail services for 100,000+ Exchange mailboxes, along with providing dedicated application mail relay services on postfix and sendmail Linux servers. The team is also responsible for eFAX services. The role available is a for a technical specialist within the team, and the responsibilities include designing and facilitating the deployment of mail service upgrades, working with product management and business aligned application development teams to deliver upgrades and integrating solutions on the Exchange platform.
The person is expected to be highly technical with a focus on Exchange email services, and have a strong technical foundation with Active Directory, DNS and Powershell scripting. The ideal candidate will have a proactive attitude and be motivated by enhancing the platforms we provide. Have a track record of delivering automation for repetitive tasks. Experience of delivering large (10,000 users +) infrastructure projects, demonstrate good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a global team. Experience of Linux, Perl, and Python are advantageous.
- Practical experience of running/managing Exchange email plants
- Experience with Office 365 and Exchange Online
- Experience with writing/updating Powershell scripts
- Excellent communication and written skills
- Experience creating technical architecture blueprints and practical documentation
- Experience with Windows infrastructure products, Active Directory, Exchange (2010-2016)
- Knowledge of common IT processes, including ITIL and SDLC
- Knowledge of Linux, and supporting services DNS, LDAP, Apache & Kerberos
- SendMail, Postfix knowledge is advantageous
- Experience in Linux, Perl, and Python preferred
Knowledge of French and English is required.
