Job Description:

New Directions Aromatics Inc. is a leading wholesale supplier of natural raw material with over 800 products and has become a leading supplier of many leading brand-name manufacturers, as well as start-up companies. Reporting to senior management, the successful candidate will be responsible for building relationships with new businesses, securing new top tier accounts to meet annual sales goals, and owning all prospecting functions. Experience in a similar position along with a professional disposition and ability to deal with people of all backgrounds is required.

Job Responsibilities:

· To source new business and build long-lasting client relationships through a variety of means; networking, cold calling, emails, conferences, etc.

· Customer visits at client sites as required

· Expedite orders by communicating with various departments

· Follow-up and nurture of existing large scale clients

· Monitor status of orders to ensure delivery timelines are on track

· Prepare accurate and competitive customer quotes as needed

· Understanding customer needs and requirements and responding in an appropriate and timely manner

· Routing qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure

· Research accounts, identify key players and generate interest

· Maintain and expand your database of prospects within your assigned parameters

Job Skills & Qualifications:

· Minimum 5 years’ experience in Consumer Packaged Goods; preferably in Cosmetics or Food Required

· University Degree an asset

· Coaching and Leadership experience within a Sales Department an asset

· Proven track record exceeding sales quotas

· Driven to build and develop new customer relationships

· Experience with corporate buyers an asset

· Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)

· Flexible at prioritizing workload to meet deadlines

· Excellent interpersonal skills and relationship building

· Adaptable, flexible and able to work well in a fast-paced environment

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Ability to work independently and in a team

· Strong attention to detail, sound judgment and decision-making skills

· Strong phone presence, and ability to manage a high call volume

· Experience working with CRMs
