Job Description

Reporting to the Manager, Product Management, the Healthcare Portfolio Strategy lead (Product Manager) will play a critical role in the expansion of our business and revenue growth strategy in Canada, with focus on product development.

Product Manager Core Responsibilities:
Develop, lead and execute Purolator’s product portfolio strategy for the healthcare market
Identify market growth opportunities & deliver business cases to
Conduct market research & generate product requirements
Lead cross-functional teams to develop product roadmaps, specifications, pricing, and time-integrated plans for product introduction
Establish & execute product and marketing strategies

Product Manager Job Duties:
Act as a subject matter expert and service portfolio owner, developing a very strong understanding of products & market needs for the healthcare industry and its related segments
Lead efforts and cross-functional teams in developing product strategy and executing launch products
Partner with sales & operations organizations to develop & deliver a product roadmap geared to drive growth & service excellence for target healthcare customer segments
Perform data analyses to capture and synthesize data for root cause analysis and product strategy performance
Recommend the nature and scope of present and future product lines by reviewing product specifications and requirements; appraising new product ideas and/or product changes
Create competitive analysis and market share assessments, coupled with monthly and quarterly business reviews
Bring new products to market by analyzing proposed product requirements and product development programs; preparing return-on-investment analyses
Partner with communications teams in development of take to market strategy and organizational messaging
Perform product post-launch assessments and create plan to gather learnings and implement enhancements as required
Leverage data and analytics to drive decisions, features & design, while demonstrating an ability to develop & deliver recommendations in ambiguous situations

Qualifications

Demonstrated product management experience
Transportation/supply chain industry experience would be an asset
Experience in Healthcare transportation & logistics, Good Distribution Practices & Quality Programs preferred
University degree in business, marketing, finance/economics, or related field
Minimum 3-5 years business experience in a product management or marketing environment
Demonstrated experience in leading/participating in major business initiatives
Creative thinker with the ability to provide solutions that meet customer needs
Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
Able to excel in a dynamic environment, lead and manage several projects simultaneously, strong time management and prioritization skills
Strong communication skills – verbal and written
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Excellent presentation skills in multiple formats
Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with Agile and Lean product development practices
