Reports to the Therapy Coordinator or designate and working under the general direction of the unit therapist, performs rehabilitation assistant duties such as implementing individual and group interventions and activities that improve and maintain the functional abilities of residents. Maintains records and performs related duties by utilizing a personal computer, word processing software tools, and related equipment. Operates VIHA bus to transport residents to various locations.
Education, Training And Experience
Completion of Rehabilitation Assistant Program, Therapeutic Recreation Diploma/ Program or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Valid Class 4 Driver's license (restricted).
