PRINCIPAL FOCUS: Under the direction of the Purchasing Operations Manager of Vistek, the Inventory Assessment Administrator works directly with our Retail Operations, Rental House, Warehouse, and Purchasing teams providing administrative support for company product assessments, returns, processes and activities for the Inventory team at Vistek.
Work with inventory and warehouse teams to ensure inventory is accurately located(physically/system) based on its status and condition
Review any discrepancies, make all necessary corrections/adjustments, conduct root cause analysis and report on findings.
Provide support for Year-end Inventory and cycle counts
Responsible for managing full circle product and warranty claims from Vendors
Vendor returns management
Competitive Marketplace understanding and evaluation
Act as a consultant for all Vistek locations across Canada to help drive and streamline process for returns process and inventory evaluation
Job requires a mix between and office and warehouse environment
Comfortable working in an fluid environment with pressing deadlines and constantly changing business needs and requirements
Highly proficient in tools such as Google Applications, and Excel
Experience with an ERP system such as Microsoft Dynamics is preferred
Ability to multitask and prioritize based on deadlines
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Photo and video technical knowledge an asset
Ability to give and take instruction
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
2+ years background working within an inventory capacity for a CE retailer
Photo and video industry experience desired
Experience working with ERP systems
Strong experience using excel
Understanding of retail operations
Experience working within a returns/repair/rental depot
