-Cut, trim and otherwise prepare standard cuts of meat, poultry, fish and shellfish for sale. Grind meats and slice cooked meats using powered grinders and slicing machines. Prepare special displays of meat, poultry, fish and shellfish. Shape, lace and tie roasts and other meats, poultry or fish and may
wrap prepared meats, poultry, fish and shellfish. Ensure food storage conditions are adequate.
Important qualities: Work well under pressure and with others, be physically fit because the job requires
standing for extended periods and is physically demanding, serious applicants for long term work
Languages: Oral English and/or French necessary
Experience needed to apply for this position: a minimum of 3 years as a butcher.
