Payroll & Benefits Administrator required for a not-for-profit organization in York Region

Job#: 790
Job Type: Temporary, currently open ended month to month, term date TBA
Hours: 35 hour work week, occasional evenings and weekends may be required
Rate per hour: $30-$35/hr

Responsibilities:
Directly supporting Director, Finance
Processing bi-weekly payroll for 300+ employees.
Processing a full payroll cycle in addition to benefits and payroll administration, T4 and reconciliation preparation.
Working within a comprehensive HRIS/HCM for payroll, time and attendance.
Administration of WSIB, EHT and other government reporting.
Responsible for year-end audits and monthly reconciliations.
Administration of all employee group benefits including pension plans and workplace health and safety .

Qualifications:
3+ years of payroll processing experience.
Payroll Compliance Practitioner Designation or equivalent
Valid Canadian G Driver’s License & access to a reliable vehicle.
Excellent accounting knowledge and analytical skills.
Strong Microsoft Office Proficiency; including Excel & Outlook.
proficiency with Ultimate Software (Ultipro) an asset.
Excellent problem solving and attention to detail.
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
