A Ticket Seller is part of the ticket sales/guest services team and is a highly customer focused role. He/She is responsible for selling different types of tickets/passes/products as well as answering customer queries. They are often a customer’s first point of contact at the mountain, therefore professionally representing the company is a top priority.
This is a part-time, seasonal position from November to May.
This position requires incumbents to be available for a minimum of 2 shifts per week and on weekends. Throughout the holidays (December 20th to January 2nd) you must be available for a minimum of 4 shifts.

Professional deportment with excellent customer service skills: experience dealing with all on-hill patrons
Cheerful, outgoing personality; demonstrated temperament and disposition for highly stressful situations
Self-motivated and able to work unsupervised
Strong team member able to take direction
Motivated and observant; able to perceive needed tasks and complete them without direction
Self-aware; able to identify strengths and gaps in own abilities and training
Recreational mountain pursuits, such as rock climbing, and ski touring, are considered assets.
Previous Point of Sales (POS) experience preferred
Good computer skills
Good money handling skills
Good organizational skills
Strong customer service skills
Ability to work well under pressure (busy times or when dealing with irate customer)
Skiing or snowboarding experience to assist customers in choosing the correct products is an asset.
Sell window tickets and apply different discounts where applicable
Handle cash, credit card and debit transaction while using a computerised system (RTP)
Receive guest complaints and refer to coordinator or supervisor if needed
Be knowledgeable about the hill and where things are located. Ask other staff if unknown.
Ask coordinators or supervisor for assistance when required
Process and understand voucher types and billing accounts
Understand Reciprocal, Affiliate and Ambassador programs.
Respect and adhere to the company’s policies and procedures as set in the “Corporate Policies”, “Employee Handbook” and “Safety Operations Training Manuals”
