The Communications Officer will coordinate content that increases awareness of the activities, services, goals, and achievements of the Clinical Research portfolio within the Schulich School of Medicine & Dentistry. The role will be responsible for coordinating the development and execution of communications plans and initiatives in support of the portfolio’s priorities and various partnerships. Working within the Schulich Marketing & Communications Department, the role will operate in consultation with the Associate Director, Clinical Research, managing communications to engage and inform key stakeholders (e.g., faculty, staff, learners, alumni, service users, and the Clinical Research portfolio’s partners) via various channels including social media, web, print, and email. The role will have responsibility for planning, coordinating, developing, and executing various web-based communication / web design efforts to enhance user experience. The Communications Officer will ensure appealing and impactful designs are developed that fit the Clinical Research portfolio’s goals, in alignment with the Schulich Medicine & Dentistry’s marketing and branding strategies and guidelines.
