About the Role
Provides administrative, clerical and secretarial support to the graduate program of the Department of Sociology and Anthropology. Responds to faculty and student requests regarding program information for Sociology and Anthropology to assist with the successful delivery of programs by providing diverse administrative support relating to recruitment, admissions, registration, courses, exams, grading, graduation processes and procedures, and all other program related requirements. Provides financial and general operational assistance to the Department of Sociology and Anthropology and the Labour Studies Program. Monitors department operating and grant budgets under the guidance of the supervisor, processes all relevant financial documentation; reconciles and maintains financial records for projects, research grants, petty cash and operating accounts. Maintains the accuracy and integrity of departmental records, files, databases and spreadsheets.
