Polymath is an interface between financial securities and the blockchain, helping issuers to overcome the complex technical and legal challenges related to issuing regulated securities on the blockchain. We are a team of start-up veterans, legal experts, finance professionals, and developers looking to hire a Business Development Associate to our team.
Polymath is recruiting for a Business Development Associate who will manage the pipeline for our flagship product, the Polymath Capital Platform. In this position you assist with the design, execution and continuous improvement of the business development strategy, from onboarding, implementation, training and ongoing support.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Research and cultivate new business opportunities within the defined markets.
- Qualify potential customers through outbound calls, conducting demos and other forms of prospecting tactics as needed.
- Respond to inbounds leads and determine appropriate next steps in the sales process.
- Prepare proposals for customer with the support of leadership.
- Help define the prospecting strategy, formulate objectives and identify opportunities that allow us to connect with our target market,
- Partner closely with Product, Marketing and Engineering to help facilitate a smooth and successful buyer journey.
- Work closely with leadership on strategic messaging to ensure our brand comes across as informed, relevant and engaging.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- 5 years of experience in Business Development/Sales Development in a SaaS environment.
- In depth knowledge of the BD tech stack including CRM platforms such as Salesforce and Hubspot, as well as LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
- Experience in capital markets is a plus but not required.
