Daikin Applied is currently hiring for a Service Coordinator in the Toronto area! The Service Coordinator will provide customer service, service fulfillment coordination, and administrative functions that support the efficient operation of a service office.
Work with Technician Supervisor in scheduling and dispatching of Technicians for jobs (Start ups/repairs, warranty, maintenance).
Assists the District Sales Manager with data entry and maintaining the integrity of the local office database.
Handles customer inquiries and routes questions of technical nature to the appropriate resource.
Tracking of time and attendance for Technicians.
Coordinates job start-ups and maintain communication with customer regarding scheduling for the startup and follow-up on jobs in progress/completed.
Invoices and bills customers.
Coordinates warranty administration process. Orders Parts and tracks shipments.
Answers telephones and greets customers. Maintains professional and courteous customer contact.
Assist new hires in the completion of their new hire paperwork, completes employer required sections of forms (I-9) and ensures that it is sent to Human Resources on the new employee's first day of employment.
Enters all information and maintains information into Enterprise Resource System. This includes work orders, new customer information, and technician hours for billing purposes.
Ensures timely close-out on all work orders and that all associated paperwork (P.O., etc.) is received and filed with the proper job.
Maintains filing for office. Maintain office equipment (copier, telephone, fax, etc.)
Organizes and coordinates inventory processes.
Associates Degree in Business preferred, but high school diploma plus experience in the commercial HVAC Sales operation will be considered.
Work experience, preferably within the contracting/sales, construction or technical work environment is highly preferred
Must have proficient computer skills within the following applications: Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, Desktop Publishing and Internet business application usage.
Must demonstrate the ability to perform work independently and possess solid organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with both internal and external clients.
Ability to handle a large and diverse number of projects, tasks and issues with tact, cooperation and persistence.
Ability to prioritize work activities based upon financial impact to desired business goals.
Experience with basic project accounting or costing principals is desired.
Ability to multi-task and handle fast paced, high pressure situations.
